Born into a family of musicians, she completed her studies at the Conservatory of Yerevan (Armenia).
Since her debut, she has performed in theaters around the world, including Opéra National de Paris, Opernhaus Zürich, Atlanta Opera, Théâtre des Champs Élysées in Paris, Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow, Hamburg State Opera, Teatro Massimo in Palermo, Teatro dell’Opera in Rome, Canadian Opera Company in Toronto, Palau de les Arts in Valencia, Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, Theater an der Wien, and the Rossini Festival in Pesaro.
Her repertoire includes titles such as Carmen, Falstaff, Un ballo in maschera, Eugene Onegin, Norma, Nabucco, Samson et Dalila, Semiramide, La donna del lago, L’italiana in Algeri, L’incoronazione di Poppea, Giulio Cesare, Alcina, Rinaldo, Pikovaia Dama, and Orphée et Eurydice, among others.
She made her debut at the Gran Teatre del Liceu during the 2018/19 season with L’italiana in Algeri and returned with Norma in the 2021/22 season.
